Kurdiya New

biguhêre

Sorry, I just noticed your message on my Talk page. You have some interesting points in your suggestion for a "Kurdiya New". For the standardization of any language, however, it is not only most "original" words and phrases that are chosen, but usually those words and phrases that are more widely known. Therefore, for instance, it is highly unlikely that the words likely "raşt" and "hirê" will ever replace "rast" and "sê" respectively no matter how "original" the first mentioned ones might be.

I don't see as a realistic method to create an artificial pan-Kurdish language at any near future. Even if we had a unified Kurdistan, we will have to accept more than one standard form of Kurdish among Kurds. Now that we are divided and Kurds tend to speak a foreign language with even those who speak the same dialect as themselves, trying to create a "New Kurdish" would dminish the level of understanding the language among the speakers of all dialects. That would just push Kurds towards more speaking, reading and writing a foreign language than a Kurdish dialect.

I welcome steps towards standardization of each dialect or dialect group: Kurmancî, Soranî, Zazakî, Hewramî... In the standardization process we can choose the forms that are common for other dialects as well. I think Vate Group has done this for Zazakî in a very successful way. The language that they produce is quite easy for us Kurmancs as well although - one has to admin - Kurmancî and Zazakî are quite far from each others.

What is the different between cenî, cenîye and dahrî, dahrîye?--ÇalakГотубеж 15:13, 20 avrêl 2013 (UTC)

-e is the feminine ending in Zazaki for Casus rectus and obliquus both (it is akin to Kurmanji -ê in Obliquus), it exists in Northern Zazaki (Alevi dialects) as -e, like roze "day" and in Southern Zazaki (Çermik-Siverek) as -ı, like: rojı "day". Only Central Zazaki (Palu-Bingol-Lice) lost thıs ending, like: ruec (without ending). In the Standard writing of Vate (Malmisanij, Rosan Lezgin) and Frankfurt Institute (Mesut Keskin) is this -e in using. --Kurdos (gotûbêj) 16:14, 20 avrêl 2013 (UTC)

No, it's "rez" in Zazaki. --Kurdos (gotûbêj) 11:33, 21 avrêl 2013 (UTC)
Rez is available in sorani and kurmanci too. hoşe is not rez! Are you sure?--ÇalakГотубеж 11:37, 21 avrêl 2013 (UTC)
Yes, I've asked some Zazas, they don't know the word. --Kurdos (gotûbêj) 11:37, 21 avrêl 2013 (UTC)
OK, thanks.--ÇalakГотубеж 11:45, 21 avrêl 2013 (UTC)
